Ray LloydJ'EN 56 in Control Line Stunt............
Thought I would fill you in on the JEN 56 in my MAX 2. This is an Igor Burger design - he is very respected in Europe (see links on CLAPA site) as a designer builder and flyer, my model now weighs 68 oz but you would not think so if you so it fly. I have been using it with an LA .46 on pipe but it lacked the power in windy conditions so a change to the Jen was a good idea, this too is running on the pipe and as you would imagine is ideal for this use.
It is as I received it from you with your venturi and needle, it turns a 13x4 APC spot on. Fuel is 12 and 12 klotz/castor and 3% nitro. When I have used this gallon I will be going on a 10 and 10 oil content. I am well pleased with my engine and will keep you posted.

Martin DuffyI am not normally the type of person who puts pen to paper, but I felt I had to congratulate you following my recent dealings with your company. Having been delighted with my recently purchased ASP 65FS, which I might add was delivered within 16hrs of ordering it! I am again delighted with my new J'EN56... it was well worth the wait, it is very smart looking, and after 30 mins running in, it goes like the clappers, exceptional throttling, very crisp and responsive, with loads of power, especially when spinning an 11' 6 prop (its in my CAP232). keep up the good work!

Andy BrastedJust a quick note to thanks you for the delivery of my J'EN 56. It has been installed in my Funtana 40S following a full running in schedule as per your instructions. The aeroplane was flown yesterday (no cowl as there is a little fine tuning to complete) and wow!...
Stunning performance. Great power, great sound. Much interest from club mates. I cannot praise it enough.

Colin RouillardAll in all, I can say that am highly delighted with this motor, and look forward to many hours of reliable operation and possibly trying one of the others in the range at a future date.
Thanks for your help and excellent service.

Justin GoldstoneJust thought I'd send a picture of my Masterline Vandal powered by a magnificent JEN 56. "Superb engine" This engine is the easiest starting, most reliable engine I have ever owned!!!
|
 |
Neil HendersonIt is a brilliantly powered engine for its size and weight and still comes with the quality that only the best engines can offer.

Nick ReffoldMy J'EN .56 was delivered to my door yesterday morning, less than 20 hours after ordering - great service - very many thanks. In the afternoon, I put it on the stand and started it with an electric starter. In less than a second it burst into life and ran steadily. I followed your instructions to the letter. The second start was with a chicken stick. The engine started with one flick! It was beautifully smooth and free running within 20 minutes or so. The top needle setting, out of the box, was within 1/4 turn of the final, slightly rich, setting. I closed down the low end needle, opened it up with the 'hissing test' and had it throttling up smoothly and quickly from a long period of idle within 3 runs.
Either I am getting better at reading instructions or this is an outstanding engine. It also had loads of power - I had to tie down the test rig to a spiral picket!

Richard NormanRipmax Bossanova fitted with my new J'EN .56 and the CVEC exhaust swinging a 13x4W prop.
It flies just great and the motor is the smoothest 2-stroke I have ever owned - thanks for such a great engine.

Roger (Australia) Here is your engine in my North Star, I can also take the wheels off and fly on/off water.

ChrisCan I thank you and the JE Team for such a great service. I ordered my Jen57 on Thursday morning, and it was delivered on Friday morning at 9:30 am!
Not only that, this is my second Jen engine, the first was a Jen 56 (ABC version) which is still going strong after 2 years regular running, starts usually first flick, and still looking good (the purple head has faded a bit with the heat, but that I'm not complaining as it must have had 25 to 30hours running in that time) You have a great product and I would like you to know that this customer appreciates you and your efforts.

Dean HarperJust to let you know that I have finally fitted my two J'en .56s into planes that I bought from you @ R.A.F Cosford. Well they are certainly up to the job, whether you use a big or small prop they just stonk around. I just can't wait to fit my nice new J'en .91 with a purple pipe to my javelin 2. In short your engines are the DOG'S CAHOONERS.
