J'EN Carb Spares

The J'EN37 - J'EN91 use the J’EN ‘TN2’ carb. Complete Carb assembly (6000) and Carb parts are listed below the engine parts for each engine model.

Notes on the TN2 carb:

The carb. is a nice easy to operate twin needle carb. based on well proven designs

The idle needle is sold as part of sub-assembly 6007, however, to check or replace this part you will need to disassemble the carb To do this remove barrel bolt (6017) and slide the barrel (6009) out of the carb body (6007) being careful not to lose the internal spring (6006). Loosen the assembly nut on the side of the carb body [tip; keep the needle (6001) in the valve when using pliers or mole grips otherwise you will risk making the valve oval and not round shaped!] until it comes loose. Remove the needle (6001) and ratchet clip (6012) from the valve and push through carb body (6007).

To replace simply reverse the procedure above.

Inlet nipple (6013), carb arm (6016), idle needle with o-ring (6010), needle valve assembly (6007) and carb body o-ring (6008) are the other orderable spares.
