The following are extracts from a few other magazine reviews and model manufacturers.

"I can't say enough about the Moki that's been in the plane since it's first flight. It's power to weight ratio is awesome. It powers the 25Lb model with ease, plus I've never had a deadstick landing in over 3 years of flying. And that's without on board glow assist!"
Jeff Foley; Four Consecutive Top Gun 1st place designer class trophies, 3 NATS wins and Top Gun best 2 stroke performance award 2002.

"The Moki 1.80 has the best performance of all the large 2 stroke motors available. The motor started after only a few flicks and turns my 19x10 better than my Zenoah 38 - & at half the weight!!. The static thrust has to be seen to be believed" Jeff Barringer (A.M.I.)

"A fine constructed engine. Unusually good hand starting" Mike Billington (RCMWorld)

"Record setting horsepower and torque. Outstanding Performance. The most powerful low speed engines ever offered to the modelling fraternity. Moki 2.10; 7600 rpm on a Ultra 20x10 prop - that's 26 pounds of thrust!!" Dave Gierke (Model Aeroplane News Oct. 2001)

Stuart (Solutions) was absolutely amazed at the way the 1.80 transformed his model; shorter take-off, better vertical performance - the carb slows the engine down when you want it to - and then puts the power back on when you need it. "I'm very impressed" unquote!! He's now recommending the Moki 1.20 for the Preceptor (large model trainer) and the 1.80 if you want the Preceptor as a sports/aerobatic model.

Martin Bedding (Aviation Technics) has now been using a Moki 1.80 in his Laser200 on the large scale aerobatic circuit this season. He says he can now whole heartedly recommend Moki engines. "They're brilliant" unquote!!

Brian Cooper (RCM&E June 2002). If you've never had a Moki - you don't know what you're missing - these engines are absolutely superb. Although the first start took a little while to 'catch' (she was teasing me), the engine soon roared into life, and firing up has since been a doddle. My lad Daniel, who was holding the Tx., squatted down behind the model and opened it up. This was like unleashing one of the horseman of the apocalypse .......... down he went onto his backside, blown over in a tidal wave of power. Tee Hee. Moki carbs are brilliant, and throttling back (straight fuel) they produce a really nice 'bop bop bop' idle straight out of the box. The main needle is thoughtfully angled to the rear, which helps keep your fingers away from the prop. Wonderful. Having completed a dozen flights, I can report that the Moki is silky smooth, ultra reliable and pulls like a train. 20 minutes on 16oz tank is typical - which cant be bad. A magic engine.
