Just Engines was founded in 1991 by Paul and Jenny Landels. Paul was an aero modeller of long standing who had started with control line in his early teens. Having competed in pylon racing in the 70s and 80s Paul was particularly interested in engines and engine performance. The decision to start a business specialising in engines was therefore quite an easy one.

Over the years we have built a reputation for excellent customer service and ‘knowing what we are talking about’ and that ethos continues to this day. We sadly lost Paul in 2006 but his legacy lives on in Jenny and the dedicated team of staff at Carlisle. We pride ourselves on giving courteous and honest advice; based on our 30 years+ in the hobby, prompt service and great products at great prices. We will help you select the best engine and silencer installation to suit your model, as well as advise you on propeller sizes, fuel, plugs and so on. A large number of popular spare parts are kept in stock at all times and we order other spares in on a weekly basis from other distributors, so we can keep your engines running.
